About the Project
The University of Memphis Laurie-Walton Family Basketball Center is a new 62,000 square foot facility completed in 2017. Linkous Construction built this state of the art facility that holistically serves both the academic and athletic needs of the players. With an overall budget of $20 million, this project was completed on time and within budget.
Special Amenities & Building Features
The center includes many state of the art amenities such as a theater style film room, academic center, and a 14,000 square foot practice court. There is also a 3,200 square foot weight room and a hydrotherapy training room. The lobby serves as the “Hall of Traditions”, an interactive museum highlighting the history of University of Memphis Basketball.
